The Habitat Hub

Our big idea

We are creating an online platform of resources and information to help our community create their own habitat gardens.

Habitat hub is a digital library dedicated to helping people build safe havens for Australian native wildlife in urban and suburban gardens.

Habitat hub collects articles, resources, videos and images, to help inspire our local community to build native habitat into their gardens.

Our passion for habitat

Human impact and land clearing has reduced the amount of bushland habitat for our native flora and fauna. By planting local native Australian species we can increase foraging areas and refuge for our native wildlife. Doing this encourages the growth and preservation of native plants, birds, insects and animals.

At Street Appeal, we have a deep respect for the environment. While we create beautiful spaces for people to enjoy, we are determined to make a positive impact on the earth, every step of the way. As our local area grows and expands, we are losing precious bushland habitat and the biodiversity of our area is being reduced. Creating pockets of habitat in our gardens is a way to add some of this biodiversity back and help our beautiful local plants and animals thrive.
